I have worked as a pharmaceutical representative for nearly ten years. I am so excited to take this opportunity ( given to me by a downsizing), to write about my life through food. I studied nutrition at Michigan State University, read cook books religiously and live in a very foodie town, Traverse City, MI.
My blog is a collection of recipes learned from my grandma and mom to the inspiration I get from recipes just about everywhere else. To me food is more than sustenance, it is what makes a culture, a region, and a family's unique traditions.
Cooking is a creative outlet for me as well as the writing and picture taking. I am inspired by the beauty that surrounds me and by a family to treasure.
